Looking for a home in a community recognized for tolerance and acceptance?
In honor of Pride Month, financial site Nerdwallet recently released its list of the 10 most LGBT-friendly cities in the United States. It analyzed the current number of same-sex partnerships, LGBT-friendly laws and LGBT safety in major cities across America. While San Francisco has long been known as the gayest city in the U.S., other cities across the nation are proudly stepping up as alternative gay-friendly locales.
We plucked one home from each of these tolerant towns’ real estate listings to showcase what that community offers to anyone considering a move.
