Has the market finally gained momentum after a slow recovery and last year’s stall? There are signs that the spring home-selling season is off to a promising start, thereby gathering momentum for the recovery in many markets across the nation. Nationally, finalized sales of previously owned homes were up 4.7 percent in February compared with a year earlier, and sales are expected to accelerate in the months ahead. The spring selling season last year was a disappointment, so there are higher hopes that this crucial period for sales, which runs February to June, exhibits positive trends for 2015.
