United Real Estate Solutions is utilizing 3D views of properties
New real estate technology is making home buying and selling faster and easier than ever.
"It's just a great way to provide a way for them to view properties with a better experience," says Kevin McManamy, President of United Real Estate Solutions.
When selling your home through United Real Estate Solutions, sellers have an option to list their houses with a special 3D view taken by a Matterport camera.
"There are companies but very few companies that are doing it so we're very proud to be the first real estate company to bring it to Siouxland," says McManamy.
United Real Estate Solutions is the only real estate company in Siouxland to own and operate this kind of technology. Now what makes this camera so special are the nine individual cameras which give a 3D panoramic view. This allows buyers to really see the house before they step inside.
"I mean it's an actual stitching together of the floor plan with exact images of the home so it's exactly like walking through in person," says Kevin McManamy, President of United Real Estate Solutions.
First the camera is set into place. It rotates a full 360 degrees Taking 6 pictures in one sitting. The camera is the moved to another spot in the room until all areas of the room have been captured and stitched together in a 3D view. the amount of camera repositioning hinges on different factors like furniture positioning and house size.
"Anywhere from say fifty to seventy plus photos in different spots in the house, so depends on how many floors and so forth so it could take anywhere from two, two and a half hours per house so it's pretty thorough," says Scott Miller, Realtor with United Real Estate Solutions.
After the entire house has been captured, images can be uploaded to the site as fast as that day or the day after.
